NOTICES FOR THE WEEK
- Holy Eucharist: Kindly continue to join in the Holy Eucharist in your homes celebrated by our archbishop Monday to Saturday 7.30 am and Sunday at 9 am. Also tune in to special sessions/ talks on various topics conducted online by various archdiocesan bodies.
- Church office remains closed till further notice.
- Church services: For any church services sacramental or others like booking of masses, etc. Kindly get in touch with us priests by sending an email on the parish id ijparish74@gmail.com. Please do not come to the church for clarifications or bookings.
- October month is dedicated to the praying of the holy rosary. Kindly pray the rosary as a family everyday.
- All Saints Day, Sunday 1st November: We pray that we live holy and pure lives.
- All souls day, Monday 2nd November: We pray for the faithful departed. You can offer your intentions through the parish email ID or give it to your PPC or SCC members. Last date to send in your intentions is Saturday 31st October. No masses at the Oshiwara cemetery, but you can go and pray for your loved ones. One Plenary Indulgence can be obtained from 1 Nov to 8 Nov.
- Community Welfare Fund/ Donations can be made through cheques only. Please hand over the CWF envelope containing the cheque/ donation cheque to your respective PPC/ SCC coordinator who will do the needful. Kindly mention clearly the period of payment (i.e. the month/ months and the year/years for which this contribution is to be marked).
- Scholarship: The Government of India has declared the minority scholarship for school/college students. Kindly avail of the same. Girl students of STD. IX, X, XI and XII apply for the Begum Hazrat Mahal Scholarship. Last date to register online is 31st October 2020.
- Covid Vaccine Box: In order that you may be prepared to bear the cost of the Covid-19 vaccine, every family may keep a sealed box into which you drop some coins every day. This daily saving will help ease the expense of the vaccine for the family or someone else in the community.
- Plastic Recycling/ e-waste Project: Requesting you to recycle the milk pouches and other plastic items. You may deposit these items with our watchman at the parish basement. You may also bring in the electronic waste for recycling.
- Vocal for Local: Some of our parishioners have started some small business endeavors from their homes. Invite you to buy from them and support them to generate some income.
- All those having permanent graves in St. Blaise, Amboli, are hereby informed that hence forth all burials will be shroud burials.
- Employment: Our archbishop inaugurated an employment portal www.e2elinks.com to help our laity to obtain jobs. You may visit this portal and check the opportunities available for employment.
- We thank you dear parishioners for your continual cooperation and support. Covid-19 threat is still on. Continue to take proper precautions as you move around. Be safe and practice SMS. Do attend the online community meetings as lots of information regarding church matters and parish happenings is passed on in these meetings.
