NOTICES FOR THE WEEK
- Season of advent. We are asked to “Comfort each other and live peacefully” as we await the second coming of Christ.
- Advent Wreathe Prayer Service has already been circulated. We encourage you to make a wreathe at home and light the advent candle on every Sunday. Also an advent eco calendar has been circulated. Kindly carry out the activities as mentioned in it.
- Holy Eucharist: You may have received the message on your whatsapp group regarding the masses. Kindly note Sunday mass timings are as follows: 6.30 am (Konkani), 8.15 am and 10 am (English) and 5.30 pm (Konkani). As decided, this Sunday, only members from communities 10 to 18 will be attending the masses according to the time-table given. For further details, contact your SCC coordinators.
- Next Sunday 13th December: Kindly note the change in timings of the masses. Morning 6.30(Konkani), 8.00 and 9.30 (English). In the evening we will have two masses at 5.00 (Konkani) and 6.30 (English). The communities allotted to attend the masses are given below. In case you would like to attend, we request you to register your names with your coordinators latest by Saturday 12th December 2020, by 4 pm. Kindly follow the allotment given.
- It is advisable that till the permission to attend online mass is valid Kindly continue to join in the Holy Eucharist in your homes celebrated by our archbishop Monday to Saturday 7.00 am and Sunday at 9 am. Also tune in to special sessions on various topics conducted online by various archdiocesan bodies.
- Church office remains closed till further notice.
- Church services: For any church services sacramental or others like booking of masses, etc. Kindly get in touch with us priests by sending an email on the parish id ijparish74@gmail.com.
- Online Booking of Masses for the year 2021 will begin from Monday 7th December. We will take the bookings for the first three months i.e. January 2021 – March 2021 online. Please do not come to the church for clarifications or bookings.
- Sunday School: Online classes will resume from today Sunday 29th November 2020. Parents kindly ask your children to join in these classes.
- Community Welfare Fund/ Donations: We thank you for your generous contribution towards the needs of the church and for community welfare. Please hand over the CWF envelope containing the cheque/ donation cheque to your respective PPC/ SCC coordinator who will do the needful. Kindly mention clearly the period of payment (i.e. the month/months/year/years for which the contribution is to be marked)
- Pre-Bap course online: Those whose children were baptized during the pandemic and those preparing for the baptism of their child are requested to register their names online for this course by sending an email on the parish id ijparish74@gmail.com. latest by Friday 11th December 2020. We will be conducting this course on Sunday 13th December 2020 from 11.15 am to 12.15 pm. Those who have registered will be sent the link online.
- We thank you dear parishioners for your wonderful cooperation and support. Covid-19 threat is still on. Continue to take proper precautions as you move around. Be safe and practice SMS.
- Opening of Church: Church is open for personal prayer from 10 am – 12 noon and 4 pm – 6 pm on weekdays (Monday to Friday).
1. Wearing of mass is compulsory. 2. Thermal scanning to be done at the gate of the church. 3. Maintain social distance. 4. Use Sanitizer before entering the church. We will also need a few volunteers to help us out to prepare and maintain the church (sanitization and ushering). 5. There will be no parking of vehicles in the church basement.
- Do attend the online community meetings as lots of information regarding church matters and parish happenings is passed on in these meetings.
- This Sunday 6th December 2020 communities from 10 to 18 will attend the service.
The following are the arrangements.
8.15a.m. Mass: Communities no. 10. Meghwadi/ Shyam/konkan Ngr 13-Pratap Nagar 17-Shiv Tekdi
10.00a.m. Mass: Communities no. 11. Natwar Nagar. 14- Prem Nagar 16-Subash Ngr
5.30p.m. Mass: Communities no. 12. Paras Ngr. 15-Shivaji/ Hari Ngr. and 18-Shankarwadi
6.30a.m. Mass will be open for all the above nine communities. Only for this mass 10 parishioners per community will be taken in by registration. Kindly register by sending a whatsapp message to your coordinator. In case a community has less than 10 members and another has more than 10 members, we will make the adjustments.
- Next Sunday 13th December 2020 communities from 1 to 18 will attend the service. School going children and senior citizen 60yrs and above are strictly not allowed. The following are the arrangements.
8.00a.m. Mass: Communities No. 3,8,11,17.
9.30a.m. Mass: Communities No. 1,4,6,13,16.
5.00p.m. Mass: Communities No. 2,7,10,15.
6.30p.m. Mass: Communities No. 5,9,12,14,18.
