NOTICES FOR THE WEEK

  1. 1st Jan New Year day. Mass at 7:30 am in Konkani and 9:00 am in English. No Evening mass.
  2. We are grateful to your support and contribution towards distribution of 1200 Bedsheets, Sunday School Christmas party and SVP Christmas hampers. Thank you. You can still make your donation in the church office.
  3. PPC /SCC Coordinators will have a joint Parish Council Meeting on Wed, 4th Jan at 7:30 pm in the AV Hall. It is important for all PPC members /SCC Coordinators to be present for the meeting.
  4. The Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist for first Holy Communicant’s will be celebrated on Sunday 8th Jan at 10 am. Kindly keep our 10 communicants in prayer. Four Communicants will have common celebration, organized by IJYM youth and it begins from 12:30 pm onwards in the AV Hall.
  5. The Sacrament of Confirmation will be administered to our 15 confirmation students by Bishop John Rodrigues on Sunday, 15th January at the 10 am Eucharist. Kindly keep them in prayer.
  6. Konkani Preacher Bro Prakash D’Souza will be conducting an outreach in Konkani on Sunday 15th January, beginning with Praise & Worship at 5 pm, Mass in Konkani at 5:30pm followed by outreach in Konkani. All are welcome. Please invite all your friends and relatives. Please note no Konkani mass at 7 am in the morning.
  7. Booking of masses for the month of January, February and March has begun. Pluri intentions with new charges will be taken only at Wednesday evening mass and at Sunday 9:30 am mass.
  8. Contribution towards Advent campaign against Hunger and Disease by Centre for Social Action is to be dropped in the box placed in front of the altar. Envelopes for the same are placed on the box.
  9. The basement is available for private functions for parishioners only. For details kindly contact the church office.
  10.  Forthcoming activities in the month of January is as follows:  21st Jan – Gospel Rock by IJYM Youth, 22nd Jan –  Devotion to Infant Jesus, 26th Jan – Community wise Cricket tournament & 29th Jan – Careers in Merchant Navy & Talent Dhamaka (Singing & Dance Competition)
  11. The results of the Star and Crib competition is as follows
  12. Star – 3rd place – Shivaji Hari Nagar, 2nd place – Shankarwadi & 1st place – Koliwada
    Crib – 3rd place – Bimbisar Nagar, 2nd place – Natwar Nagar & 1st Place – Bandrekarwadi 2

  13. Thank you dear parishioners for your prayers, for sharing Christmas sweets, Christmas wishes, food, and Kuswar with the parish fathers.
  14. The Parish fathers along with the sisters wish you a Blessed, Safe, and a Happy New Year 2023. Please wish the sick and homebound at home and all your friends and relatives on our behalf. Happy New Year.
  15. Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs 70,480/- which is for the parish Trust. Thank you for your generosity.
