NOTICES FOR THE WEEK
- Fifth Sunday of the year: The liturgy invites us to experience the healing power of Christ in our lives.
- Holy Eucharist: We thank you all for your wonderful cooperation and support during the novena days and for the feast masses. As you are aware that the restrictions for prayer gatherings are still in place in our city, hence we revert to our procedure of registration. Thank you for making suitable adjustments. Kindly follow the allotment given. It is advisable that till the permission to attend online mass is valid to join in the Holy Eucharist in your homes celebrated by our archbishop Monday to Saturday 7.00 am and Sunday at 9 am.
- Mass timings for today are as follows: 6.30 a.m. Konkani, 8.00 am, 9.30 a.m. in English, 5 p.m. (Konkani) and 6.30 pm in English. Babies, school going children, senior citizens 60yrs and above, those with co-morbidities are strictly not allowed.
- FHC for the batch of 2019-20 will be given to 16 children at a special mass on Saturday 13th February 2021 at 5 pm. Hence the evening mass on Saturday 13th February will be at 7 pm instead of 6.30 pm.
- Feb 11 is the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes and World Day of the Sick. Let us pray to our Blessed Mother for the end of the pandemic the world over and in our city. We also pray for those who are sick and bedridden that through her intercession they may experience healing in their lives.
- Feb 14: Next Sunday will be celebrated as World Marriage Day. We encourage you to come as couples for the allotted mass. We will be having renewal of marriage vows at all masses.
- Feb 17 is Ash Wednesday: The Lenten programme will be announced as soon as we receive fresh directives from the Archbishop’s Office. Kindly keep checking your community whatsapp group for updates.
- Feb 19 (Friday): We will have a special mass for senior citizens at 5 pm. One family member may accompany them. Kindly register with your community coordinator. We advise those senior citizens with co-morbidities and health difficulties to avoid coming for the Eucharist. Holy Communion for them will be arranged. Please get in touch with your PPC/ SCC members who will inform us priests about the same.
- Feb 23 (Tuesday): Special mass for children of Std. VIII – X at 6.30 pm. One parent to accompany the child. Kindly register with your Sunday School teachers.
- Church services: For any church services sacramental or others like booking of masses, etc. Kindly get in touch with us priests by sending an email on the parish id.
- Online Booking of Masses for the year 2021 is open up to 31st March 2021 Please do not come to the church just for booking of masses.
- Church office is open from Monday to Saturday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Office remains closed in the mornings and on Sundays. You may continue to avail of services online. Come to the office only if it is absolutely essential.
- Covid-19 threat is still on. Continue to take proper precautions as you move around. Make sure you wear the mask and sanitize your hands periodically. Few of our community members have received the vaccine dose and so far have not experienced major side effects. In case you have received the vaccine dose, kindly inform your community coordinator. We would like to keep a record of those who have received it. Continue to save for the vaccine using the Covid-19 vaccine box.
- Next Sunday the mass allotments are as follows. Not more than 20 members from a community.
6.45 pm on Saturday: Not community wise but registration is essential.
6.30 am Mass: Not community wise but registration is essential
8.00a.m. Mass: Communities No. 4,5,9, 14.
9.30a.m. Mass: Communities No. 3,8,11,17.
5.00p.m. Mass: Communities No. 7, 12, 13, 16, 18.
6.30p.m. Mass: Communities No. 1, 2, 6,10, 15.
