                NOTICES FOR THE WEEK

 

  1. Feast of the Epiphany of Our Lord: We are all called to follow the teaching of Christ our star and Lord and proclaim him as the universal Saviour
  2. Holy Eucharist: We thank you dear parishioners for your wonderful cooperation and support. As you are aware that the restrictions for prayer gatherings are in place and things change at the last moment. We request you to make suitable adjustments so that we remain within the purview of the law.  Kindly follow the allotment given.
  3. Covid-19 threat is still on. Continue to take proper precautions as you move around. Be safe and practice SMS. It is advisable that till the permission to attend online mass is valid Kindly continue to join in the Holy Eucharist in your homes celebrated by our archbishop Monday to Saturday 7.00 am and Sunday at 9 am.
  4. Next Sunday 10th January is the feast of the Baptism of our Lord.
  5. Sunday 17th January is vocation Sunday. Sacrament of Confirmation will be celebrated at a special mass at 11 am.
  6. Sunday 31st January: Parish Feast. Details to be announced in the coming weeks.
  7. Church services: For any church services sacramental or others like booking of masses, etc. Kindly get in touch with us priests by sending an email on the parish id ijparish74@gmail.com.
  8. Online Booking of Masses for the year 2021 has begun. We will take the bookings for the first three months i.e. January 2021 – March 2021 online. Please do not come to the church for booking of masses.
  9. Online PPC/SCC Steering committee meeting: Mon 4th Jan at 7.45 pm. Major discussion on the manner of celebration of the novena and parish feast. Link will be sent to you. Please make sure that you log in on time.
  10. SCC meetings: Communities to meet by themselves to discuss novena and feast.
  11. Crib & Star Competition: The results will be declared on Sunday 17th January 2021
  12. Vacancy for Security Guard for the Church: We invite applications preferably from our parishioners for the post of security guard at our Infant Jesus Church. Last date for receiving application: 10th January 2021.
  13. Church office will be open from Monday 4th January 2021. It will remain open on weekdays only Monday to Saturday evenings from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. However the office will remain closed on mornings and on Sunday. You may continue to avail of services online. Come to the office only if it is absolutely essential.
  14. Community Welfare Fund/ Donations: We thank you for your generous contribution towards the needs of the church. You may now come to the office in the evening or hand it over to your respective PPC/ SCC coordinator who will do the needful. Kindly mention clearly the period of payment for which the contribution is to be marked)
  15. Opening of Church: Church is open for personal prayer from 10 am – 12 noon and 4 pm – 6 pm on weekdays (Monday to Friday). Kindly follow proper safety measures (SOPs).
