MOST HOLY TRINITY SUNDAY, 4th JUNE , 2023

NOTICES FOR THE WEEK

  1. This is the last week to collect the Registration forms for First Holy Communion, Pre confirmation for 10th std students & Confirmation classes from the church office.
  2.  With the approval of the PPC/SCC at last meeting, the New Mass timings from 11th June is as follows.
  3. Weekdays: Mass in the morning at 6:30 am in English and in the evening Rosary will be recited at 6:30pm followed by evening mass at 7pm everyday. Mass at 7pm will also help the working crowd and others to attend and reach on time.
  4. On Wednesdays: Evening mass will be celebrated in Konkani and on Fridays evening mass will be celebrated in English for the benefit of children and Youth. We want to see children and Youth attending the Eucharist followed by games and group dynamics for children every Friday. Liturgy on ‘fridays will be animated by Sunday school.
  5. On Sundays: Morning mass in Konkani at 7am and only one English mass at 9am. We want the entire family to attend the Eucharist together followed by Sunday school  and  Confirmation classes. Evening mass in Konkani at 5:30pm as usual.
  6. We have a good news for the parish. Jeston Floyd Fernandes, Son of Frederico and Natalina Fernandes from Natwar Nagar has joined St Pius X College, Goregaon Seminary. Kindly keep him in your prayers as we wish  him God’s abundant blessings in this endeavour.
  7. We have a new Coordinator for Sunday school, Mr Wendell Mendonca. We wish him the very best as he takes up challenging responsibilities of Faith Catechesis. We are also grateful to Jacintha D’souza for doing a commendable job for the last 7 years.
  8.  Eucharistic Ministers and new persons chosen for the ministry will have a session on Friday, 9th June at 7pm in the AV Hall. It is compulsory for all to attend.
  9.  A Joint PPC/SCC meeting will be held on Wednesday, 21st June at 7:45pm in the AV Hall. It is compulsory to attend.
  10.  We wish to place on record our gratitude to Sr Patricia, the Superior of the Convent. She has been working in our parish since the last 3 years. In these three years she has given her best at the Suraksha community, Tailoring Workshop, Self Help Groups, Liturgy Animations, Choir, Holy Hour animation, Transgender empowerment & SCC Animation. She’s generous and has a very big heart for the poor and the  marginalised. She did her best for the poor during the Covid Lockdown. Sr Patricia has been transferred and will be undergoing Spirituality Course in Mysore for a year. We pray for her and we wish her the very best. We also welcome Sr Bibiana, the new superior of the Convent and we pray for a fruitful ministry in our parish.
  11.  All those occupying chairs in the extension area are requested to keep the chairs back. Please follow this arrangement throughout the year. Thank you.
  12.  Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs-19,650/- which is for the church trust. Thank you for your generosity.
