- We congratulate Lerissa Nadar for securing the first place at the Powerlifting Competition in the Sub Junior category held in Goa last week.
- The members of the following communities Gandhi Nagar, Shiv Tekdi and Majaswadi are requested to participate in large numbers for the Community Agape meal. Poor participation is not appreciated.
- Next Sunday 15th Oct, Sunday school children will present a gift to each other. Gifts will be made from Best out of waste. Best gifts will receive prizes. All children are expected to participate.
- Training for PPC/SCC animators will be held on Sunday, 15th Oct immediately after the 9:30am mass in the AV hall. All animators who missed previous training are expected to attend this important training session compulsorily. No excuses.
- Blessing of Pets on Sunday, 15th Oct at 10:30am in the Church. Those who have pets at home like dogs, cats, birds, tortoise etc will be blessed. Through the intercession of St Francis of Assisi may your pets enjoy long and healthy life.
- Hindi Mass next Sunday at 5:30pm.
- This month Infant Jesus devotion mass will be held on Sunday, 22nd Oct. Fr Jerome Lobo, our former parish priest will be the main celebrant. Kindly attend the Eucharist in large numbers.
- Retreat for working youth and Young adults from 21st Oct to 24th Oct at Shalini Bhavan, Sion. Topics include Choosing a life partner, Christian financial literacy, how to let God shape your career, renewing your relationship with God and ways to deal with the world. Those interested kindly enlist at the parish office with a subsidized amount of Rs 1500. First come first served basis. Last date to enlist is 15th Oct.
- In the year of the Golden Jubilee, a Parish Picnic has been organized to Green Hills Resort, Nalasopara, on Tuesday, 24th Oct, a public holiday, being Dussehra. The cost per head is Rs. 750. However for our parishioners we will be charging a subsidized cost of Rs 250 per head inclusive of bus. We expect maximum persons to come for the picnic and celebrate as one large family. Picnic is only for parishioners. Those interested kindly give your names along with the money to your PPC/SCC Coordinators latest by 20th October.
- Talent Dhamaka, talent contest at the parish level will be held on 2nd & 3rd December. This year 25 categories have been made available for parishioners to contest. Registration forms available in the church office. Last date to submit forms is 15th October. Kindly participate in large numbers.
- A news paper drive will be organized in the parish on Sunday, 5th November to enable the Youth to raise funds for the Inter Parish Youth Talent Contest. Kindly collect all the newspapers, magazines in your homes as our youth will come to your area to collect it.
- Kotak Education Foundation offers skill based training for school/college dropouts, for non graduates and Graduates. Pass the word around. Help someone to build their lives. For details kindly see the notice board.
- Parish fathers and sisters will visit catholic families residing in Market Area on Monday evening.
Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs.26, 680/- which is for the Archdiocese. Thank you for your generosity.
