  1. Parishioners are advised to take care as Dengue, Malaria, Thyphoid, Viral infection cases are on the rise. Drink only boiled water and avoid outside food.

 

  1. “JIVE WORKSHOP” for youth & Parishioners is organized on Friday 11th August from 8pm to 9pm in the AV Hall. Kindly get a partner if possible.

 

  1. Monsoon Trek for Sunday school children tomm/ today. Bus leaves at sharp 1:15 noon. Children to carry dry snacks. Parishioners/ Parent’s who are interested to come, kindly meet at Kanheri Caves entrance at sharp 3:30 pm.

 

  1. PYC Meeting after 9:30am mass in the AV Hall today/tomm. All youth are invited.

 

  1. A session on Apologetics for parents of Confirmation & First Holy Communicant’s is organized next Sunday, 13th August, after the children’s mass in the AV Hall. Attendance is compulsory.

 

  1. Mass for sick & Homebound will be held next Sunday, 13th August, at 11am in the church. Those who have cars kindly help in getting the sick/homebound to church for mass. Kindly volunteer and reach out.

 

  1. The Feast of Our Lady of Assumption is celebrated on Tuesday, 15th August. It is a day of Obligation. Mass in English at 8:30am and Konkani Mass at 5:30pm. Members of Ladies Sodality will celebrate their feast.

 

  1. IJYM has organized a Monsoon Trek for Youth to ASHERIGAD FORT, Palghar on Wednesday, 16th August, Parsi New Year, a public holiday. Cost per head is Rs. 150. Bus leaves at sharp 6:45am. Kindly carry dry snacks and water bottles as there are no hotels in the vicinity. Parishioners are welcome to join the Trek. Last date to submit forms is 12th August in the church office. Limited 45 seats only.

 

  1. The parish is starting Dance classes for school children in the age group of 4years to 14 years on Sunday’s from 6:30pm to 7:30pm in the AV Hall, conducted by Raphael D’Souza from next Sunday, 13th August onwards. Monthly fees Rs.300. Registration forms available in the church office. No new admissions after 20th August.

 

  1. Youth Retreat at Vinayalaya from Sept 15th – 17th. Retreat forms available in the church office.

 

  1. A trained lady counselor will be available on Thursday’s for counseling from 24th August onwards from 5:30pm to 7pm. For appointments kindly register in advance in the church office at a payment of nominal fee of Rs 100. No walk ins. Only 2 appointments per evening.

 

  1. Cardinal Oswald Gracias has appealed for funds for Manipur Relief and rehabilitation. Kindly drop in your collection in the box placed on the altar latest by 13th August. Cheques in favour of “ARCHDIOCESE OF BOMBAY” with a letter stating that the amount is towards the Relief work at Manipur. For details kindly see the notice board.

 

  1. As we celebrate the Golden Jubilee of our Church, a HOLY LAND TOUR (Jordan, Israel, Palestine and Egypt) is organized from 5th May to 16th May, 2024. Total Cost of the tour is Rs 1, 60,000/- per head. Booking amount refundable till December 31st is Rs. 10,000. Balance to be paid in instalments January onwards. Those interested kindly start saving money for the tour. Parish fathers will also travel with the group. Non parishioners are welcome. Kindly spread the word among friends and ex- parishioners. 45 limited seats only. For details kindly see the notice board.

 

  1. Kindly refer the notice board for “Come Find Love” programme for bachelors and spinsters looking for a life partner.

Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs 25,790 /- which is for the Parish Trust. Thank you for your generosity.
