ANNOUNCEMENTS – 30th JUNE – SUNDAY– 2024 – B

  1. Sunday school has begun.  All children from Pre primary i.e playschool & KG till eleventh standard are expected to be part of Sunday school catechesis. Parents are requested to send their children every Sunday faithfully.
  2. We invite school going children to come every Friday for Rosary at 6:30pm, children’s mass at 7pm followed by games in the extension. Parents kindly encourage your children and come along with them. Next Friday water games.
  3. The Sacrament of First Holy Communion and the Sacrament of Confirmation will be administered on Saturday, 28th Dec at the 9am mass.
  4. Children studying at Infant Jesus High School are requested to attend morning mass and then go to school. Parents kindly come along with your children and attend the Eucharist.
  5. PreBap course for expectant parents will be held tomm/today, Sunday, 30th June at 5pm in the activity room. Those interested kindly register in the church office. It is compulsory for both parents and Godparents to attend.
  6. PPC/SCC meeting on Wednesday, 3rd July at 07: 45pm in Fr Juze hall 2nd floor. It is compulsory for all to attend.
  7. First Friday Bus Service to Tabor Ashram on Friday, 5th July. Those interested kindly register. Last date to register is Wednesday, 3rd July.
  8. Faith Formation Sunday is celebrated next Sunday, July 7th. Sunday school Teachers will be commissioned and First Holy Communicant’s and Confirmation Students will be initiated at the 8:15 am mass.
  9. Parish Youth Day will be celebrated on Sunday, 7th July. It includes games, spot prizes, guest speakers, performances, fellowship, lunch and dance. Youth upto 25 years of age are invited. Passes costing Rs 100 is available with the Youth and in the church office.
  10. In consultation with the parish council, parishioners are hereby informed that in the event of death all funeral prayers will be recited at the cemetery and not at the residence of the deceased.
  11. Every Sunday is celebrated as the Lord’s Day. On the Lord’s Day we come as a community to worship during the Eucharistic celebration. Parishioners are requested to come well dressed in their Sunday best. Kindly avoid Tshirts and chappals. Formals is encouraged and appreciated.
  12. Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs.24, 750 /- which is for the church trust.
