26th NOVEMBER, 2023 – FEAST OF CHRIST THE KING
- Church painting works and renovation is in progress. Inconvenience is regretted.
- As we celebrate the feast of Christ the King, there will be a procession with the Blessed Sacrament covering all the areas of the parish proclaiming Jesus Christ as the Universal King. Posters, banners, hymns, prayers and blessings for all. The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed at 2:30 pm. for silent adoration. Eucharistic procession will begin at sharp 3:30pm onwards. All PPC/SCC animators, all members of IJYM youth group, leaders of cells and associations along with their members, Sunday school catechists and Sunday school children are expected to be present from 3pm onwards before the Blessed Sacrament. Kindly join the procession in large numbers.
- First Friday bus service to Tabor Ashram, Kalyan is organized on Friday, 1st December. Those interested kindly enlist by Wednesday, 29th Nov. No charges only love offering.
- Holy Half Hour on Friday, 1st Dec at 6:30pm. Games for children after mass.
- Talent Dhamaka Competition and felicitation will be held on Sunday, 3rd Dec from 6:30pm onwards. All are invited.
- Advent Taize Prayer Service is organized on Friday, 8th Dec from 7:30 pm onwards. All are invited.
- Christmas Outreach for Sunday school children to Shraddha Vihar, run by Helpers of Mary sisters, (Andheri East) on 10th December.
- Christmas Outreach for Youth to Assissi Bhavan Aged Home, Goregaon east, on Sunday, 10th Dec. Those youth interested kindly enlist.
- Campaign against hunger and disease envelopes are kept on the box placed on the altar.
- Parish fathers and sisters will visit catholic families residing in Bandrekar Wadi II on Monday evening.
Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs.24, 715/- which is for the church trust. Thank you for your generosity.
