ANNOUNCEMENTS – 23rd JUNE – SUNDAY– 2024 – B

  1. Sunday school has begun.  All children from Pre primary i.e playschool & KG till eleventh standard are expected to be part of Sunday school catechesis. Parents are requested to send their children every Sunday faithfully.
  2. PYC Meeting tomm/ today after the 9:30am mass in the AV Hall. Youth are requested to come prepared to decide the youth activities for the year. Elections will be held for office bearers. All Youth of our parish upto 25years of age are invited.
  3. Altar servers meeting every Thursday at 9am in the activity room. School going children are invited to join the altar servers. Children are also invited to join the children’s choir.
  4. We invite school going children to come every Friday for Rosary at 6:30pm, children’s mass at 7pm followed by games in the extension. Parents kindly encourage your children and come along with them. We begin from next Friday, 28th June.
  5. First Holy Communion and the Sacrament of Confirmation will be administered on Saturday, 28th Dec. 
  6. Children studying at Infant Jesus High School are requested to attend morning mass and then go to school. Parents kindly come along with your children and attend the Eucharist.
  7. Laity Sunday is celebrated next Sunday, June 30th. PPC/SCC/ Eucharistic ministers, Heads of cells & Associations will be commissioned at the 9:30am mass.
  8. Jesus Encounter Youth Retreat is organized from 28th June to 30th June at Rajodi Vasai. Subsidized cost is Rs 1000 for three days. Those interested kindly register in the church office lastest by Sunday 23rd. First come first served basis. The youth of our parish is encouraged to begin their new academic year by attending a Retreat and seeking God’s blessings. Parents kindly encourage and send your youth for this retreat.
  9. PreBap course for expectant parents will be held next Sunday, 30th June at 5pm in the activity room. Those interested kindly register in the church office. It is compulsory for both parents and Godparents to attend.
  10. International Youth Conference Retreat – Power 2024 at Divine Retreat Centre, Potta, Kerala. Youth retreat from 21st to 26th July led by Fr Augustine Vallooran & Team. Youth participate from all over India and abroad. Subsidized cost for parish youth is Rs.1000. Last date to register is Sunday 30th June. Departure on 19th July. First come first served basis.
  11. We are grateful to all the communities of our parish for the contribution made towards the fans. Total amount collected so far is Rs 4,14, 000/-  (Four lakhs fourteen thousand) Kindly note the two big fans will be operational only on Saturday and Sunday masses.

  13. Every Sunday is celebrated as the Lord’s Day. On the Lord’s Day we come as a community to worship during the Eucharistic celebration. Parishioners are requested to come well dressed in their Sunday best. Kindly avoid Tshirts and chappals. Formals is encouraged and appreciated.

Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs.29,240  /- which is for the Archdiocese.
