  1. No Sunday School & No evening mass on fourth Sunday of the month.
  2. Every Friday there is Rosary and mass for children & Youth from 6:30pm onwards followed by games & group dynamics.
  3. Good News Bibles in English for Sunday school children and adults is available in the church office on the first floor at a subsidised cost of Rs 250. Limited copies available. Market rate is Rs. 450.
  4. All students in standard 10th this year are expected to attend Pre-Confirmation classes immediately after children’s mass. It is compulsory for next year’s confirmation classes. Pre- confirmation classes ends in November. Those who fail to attend this year will be denied admission for next year’s confirmation classes.

 

  1. Holy Half Hour for children and Youth will be conducted on Friday, 28th July from 7:30pm to 8pm followed by Games and Group Dynamics. At the Holy Half Hour we will pray especially for parents.

 

  1. Parents and Grandparents day will be celebrated on Sunday, 30th July from 6:30pm onwards. Parent’s day is also called “TAKE CHARGE SUNDAY” where in children will take charge and discharge all responsibilities of cleaning and cooking. 30th July is a holiday for parents from all household work. Children to TAKE CHARGE. Housie begins at sharp 6:30pm. Dress Code for parent’s day is Hawaii.

 

  1. As we celebrate the Golden Jubilee Year of our church we want to focus on Spiritual renewal of our parishioners. Keeping this focus in mind we have organized bus services once a month for the following services

A. Konkani prayer service by Bro Prakash on the 4th Thursday of every month.i.e on Thursday, 27th July to St. Joseph the worker Church, Bandra east. Last date to book seats is 24th July. Bus leaves at 5:30pm. No bus charges. Details on the notice board.

  1. First Friday Healing Prayer Service at Tabor Ashram, Kalyan in English & Hindi on Friday, 4th August. Last date to book seats is 1st August. Bus leaves at 7:00am. Sponsors are welcome. Kindly carry dry lunch.
  2. Youth Retreat at Vinayalaya from Sept 15th – 17th. This year we plan to send 50 Youth coinciding with 50 years of the parish. Subsidized cost Rs.500. Parents kindly encourage the youth and send them. Missing college for 2 days won’t make any difference. Retreat forms available in the church office.

We request parishioners to attend these services and come closer to Jesus as a family.

  1. In this Golden Jubilee Year the Statue of Infant Jesus will be visiting every home of the parish beginning from 23rd July. You are expected to come together as a family for prayer and meal when the Statue of Infant Jesus comes to your house. The statue will remain in your house for only one day. If possible please invite your neighbour’s / Non Christians to your house for prayers and blessings. Be bold and courageous. Pray for their needs before the statue of Infant Jesus. You will receive Novena Prayer card in English, Konkani and Hindi. Your PPC/SCC Coordinator will inform you of the date.

 

  1. “JIVE WORKSHOP” for youth & Parishioners is organized on Friday’s 4th & 11th August from 8pm to 9pm in the AV Hall. Kindly get a partner if possible.

 

  1. Sunday School has organized a Monsoon Trek, Nature Walk on Sunday, 6th August, to Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Kanheri Caves and Waterfalls. Bus leaves at sharp 1:15 noon. Children to carry dry snacks. Parishioners/ Parents who are interested to come, kindly meet at Kanheri Caves entrance at sharp 3pm. Cost per child is Rs. 100 inclusive of entrance fee and Bus Transport. Last date to register is Sunday, 30th July.

 

  1. If any one of you is discerning a Vocation to Priesthood or religious life, kindly attend the Quest Programme on Tuesday, 15th August at the seminary, for details kindly see the notice board.

 

  1. IJYM has organized a Youth trip to Goa in Diwali vacations. Forms available in the church office.
  2. Kindly patronize the food stalls after mass.
  3. Parish fathers and sisters will visit families residing in Bimbisar Nagar on Monday evening.

Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs 26,520/- which is for the Parish Trust. Thank you for your generosity.
