Announcements 17th SEPTEMBER, 2023 – 22nd SUNDAY (OT- A)

  1. The New Cell phone no of our parish is 9326 507 607. All communication to parishioners via Whatsapp henceforth will be sent from this no. SMS/Whatsapp messages preferred at all times. Kindly call only in matters of urgency. If any one’s no is not included kindly approach your PPC/SCC leader. This service will be activated from Monday onwards.
  2. Hindi mass will be celebrated tomm/today evening at 5:30pm.
  3. A Four day Youth Retreat from 20th Sept to 23rd Sept is organized at Pastoral Centre, Nanbhat, Vasai. Subsidized cost is Rs.700 for four days. Retreat forms available in the church office. A bus is organized to take and bring them back.
  4. Holy Half Hour for school going Children and Youth next Friday, 22nd Sept at 7:30pm.
  5. Happy Hour will be organized next week on Saturday, 23rd Sept at 8pm by Janta Colony, Gandhi Nagar and Prem Nagar communities. A game of Housie will be played. Kindly come in large numbers.
  6. A Special Eucharist to promote devotion to Infant Jesus will be celebrated by Fr KT Emmanuel, from Bishops House, on Sunday, 24th Sept. Eucharistic Adoration begins at 09:30 am followed by mass at 10:00am. Kindly promote the devotion and invite your friends, relatives and ex parishioners. No Sunday school and No evening mass, next Sunday. Come as a family and pray together.
  7. It is being observed parishioners are coming late for mass on Sundays. At every Eucharist we celebrate the Passion, Death and Resurrection of our Lord.  Kindly respect the Sacredness of the Eucharist and of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. Please come before time and prepare well so that you may participate worthily and receive manifold graces and blessings. PLEASE AVOID COMING LATE FOR MASS.
  8. In the month of November parishioners are encouraged to attend four day retreat at Tabor Ashram in English, Konkani and Hindi languages during the Diwali holidays from 12th to 15th November. Buses will be organized to take and bring you back. No charges. All expenses will be paid for by the parish. Parishioners are requested to plan in advance with regards to office leave and attend the retreat as a family. Experience the Power of God as a family together.  A family that prays together always stays together.
  9. As the monsoon is receding, children studying at Infant Jesus secondary section are expected to attend the morning mass and then attend school. Parents kindly encourage your children.
  10. Those who wish to donate to the church either by cash or cheque towards the SOLAR PANEL PROJECT are welcome. Cheques to be drawn in the name of INFANT JESUS CHURCH. Kindly pray for this project.
  11. The Parish fathers and sisters will visit Catholic families residing at Koliwada on Monday evening.

Collections on the Feast of our Lady of Nativity amounted to Rs 36, 330/-
Collections from all 18 communities towards SVP Families amounted to Rs. 1, 35,900/-
Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs 21,670/- which is for the Archdiocese. Thank you for your generosity.
