ANNOUNCEMENTS – 16TH JUNE – SUNDAY– 2024

  1. We revert to the old schedule of masses from Monday 17th June. Daily morning mass at 6:30am and evening mass at 7pm will be celebrated. Sunday masses will be celebrated as usual.
  2. Sunday school begins from Sunday, 16th June onwards. All children from KG till eleventh standard are expected to be part of Sunday school catechesis. Parents are requested to send their children every Sunday faithfully.
  3. Confirmation and First Holy Communion classes will begin from Sunday, 16th June. Compulsory Retreat for Confirmation students will begin on 28th June to 30th June. Tenth standard students will have Pre Confirmation classes every Sunday.
  4. Altar servers meeting every Thursday at 9am in the activity room. School going children are invited to join the altar servers. Children are also invited to join the children’s choir.  
  5. We welcome Sr Martha D’Souza and Sr Theresa Dabre to our parish community, we also welcome Bro Jubin Thomas from Goregaon seminary who will assist at the Sunday school. We wish them God’s choicest blessings as they begin their ministry here.
  6. Jesus Encounter Youth Retreat is organized from 28th June to 30th June at Rajodi Vasai. Subsidized cost is Rs 1000 for three days. Those interested kindly register in the church office lastest by Sunday 23rd. First come first served basis. The youth of our parish is encouraged to begin their new academic year by attending a Retreat and seeking God’s blessings. Parents kindly encourage and send your youth for this retreat.
  7. Suraksha nursery run by the sisters at Bandra plot requires two nursery teachers. Those interested kindly contact Sr Martha at the earliest.
  8. We are grateful to all the communities of our parish for the contribution made towards the fans. Total amount collected so far is Rs 4, 04,000/-. Don Bosco (Market Area) community contribution is not yet received. Kindly note the two big fans will be operational only on Saturday and Sunday masses.

            Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs.18,295 /- which is for the Archdiocese.
