ANNOUNCEMENT – 10th NOVEMBER – SUNDAY– 2024 – B
1. Open Football Tournament for Veterans tomm/today from 4pm onwards at JES Turf, Jogeshwari east. All are invited.
2. The Feast of Christ the King is celebrated on Sunday, 24th Nov. Morning mass at 8am in English. Sunday school children will have Sunfunday in AV Hall. Bishop Allwyn Barretto, Bishop Emeritus of Sindhudurg Diocese will celebrate the Infant Jesus Devotion mass in Konkani at 10am. Common Eucharistic Adoration at 9am. No evening mass.
3. This year we plan to distribute 2500 bedsheets among the poor at major government hospitals through the social workers. The cost of each handloom bedsheet is Rs 100. Parishioners are invited to reach out as part of our Advent Campaign to help the poor and needy. Cheques should be drawn in the name of INFANT JESUS CHURCH. Cash could be dropped in the box placed on the altar. Kindly be generous.
4. Parishioners are invited to join the MINISTRY OF THE WORD programme at the Goregaon Seminary. It is a 2 year course with classes on Sundays in English. Parishioners are invited to make an effort to Study the Word of God and enlighten yourself. For details kindly see the notice board.
5. The Sacrament of Confirmation and First Holy Communion will be celebrated on Saturday, 28th December at 9am by Bishop Dominic Savio Fernandes. Parents of First Holy Communion will meet tomm/today after Sunday school in the classroom for a short meeting.

Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs.23, 020/- which is for the parish.
