10th March – 4th Sunday of Lent – Ordinary Time
- . Fridays of Lent is a day of Prayer, fasting and Abstinence. Adults and Youth are invited to become fasting warriors.
- Stations of the Cross will be conducted on Wednesdays in Konkani and in English on Fridays.
- Parishioners are invited to observe NO GADGET DAY- NO MOBILE DAY once a week.
- Lenten Confessions in English, Konkani, Hindi and Marathi will be heard on Thursday, 14th March from 7:30pm onwards and on Friday 15th March from 8pm onwards. All are invited to prepare and make a good confession this year.
- YU4C will conduct the semi night vigil on Saturday, 16th March from 9pm to 11pm in the Church for the Youth and Children. It includes Praise and Worship, teaching, testimonies, action songs etc. Adults are also invited. Parents are requested to encourage the Youth and children. All are invited.
- Sunday school children will celebrate appreciation day on Sunday 17th March being the last day of Sunday school. Teachers and students will exchange appreciation notes. Parents are requested to kindly appreciate the teachers by way of thank you cards or inviting them over at home for high tea or meals. Kindly thank the teachers who have taught your kids Faith at Sunday school as they have worked throughout the year.
- Holy Spirit Hospital will conduct Blood Donation Drive in our parish next Sunday, 17th March. On the occasion of the Golden Jubilee of our parish our target is 100 bottles of blood this year. Kindly donate blood especially youth and adults from 18 years upto 58 years. Those having diabetes, pressure and on medications are not eligible. No alcoholic drinks prior to 24 hours of blood donation. For any clarification doctors will be available on the day of blood donation.
- Infant Jesus Devotion mass will be held on Sunday, 24th march being Palm Sunday. Morning 7am mass in Konkani, Blessing of Palms at 9:10 am in the Basement followed by procession to the church. Eucharistic adoration at 9:30am and Mass at 10am. No children’s mass and No evening mass. Fr Nelson Saldanha, parish priest of St. Thomas Church, Goregaon, will be the main celebrant.
- All men especially the retired are invited to join the Men’s Sodality group on Saturdays at 5pm in the Church.
- Lenten Alms this year will be sent to Manipur Relief Work. Kindly drop in your contributions in the box placed on the altar.
- Summer Camp for kids this year begins from 15th April.
- Summer schedule for masses from 15th April is as follows. Weekday’s only one mass in the evening at 7pm. On Sundays Konkani mass at 7am and only one mass in English in the morning at 9am. No evening mass.
- We are grateful to the MLA, Mr Sunil Prabhu for facilitating two benches for our parish. We wish him the very best in all his endeavours.
