ANNOUNCEMENT – 2nd Feb – 2025 – C
1. Tomorrow / today is celebrated as the Day of the Consecrated. We are very grateful to our religious sisters namely Sr. Martha, Sr. Theresa, Sr. Kaushalya and Bro. Jubin. Kindly pray for them. We wish them God’s blessings in their ministry.
2. Infant Jesus Novena in preparation of the Parish Feast has begun. Novena prayer will be recited at all masses everyday. Rosary in the evening begins from 6:15pm followed by Eucharistic Adoration and Novena mass with preaching at 7pm in English and Konkani alternately. Kindly spread the word and invite your friends and ex parishioners for the Novena in honour of Infant Jesus.
3. Games for children at the Free Kids Zone in the AV Hall on the second floor everyday after the Novena mass. All children are invited. Exciting gifts & chocolates to be won.
4. Parishioners are requested to patronize food stalls everyday after the Novena mass.
5. Games stall. Games of skill are organized by the youth in the Church extension and in the Church Basement for all. Kindly patronize and motivate the youth. Games coupons available near the grotto for Rs 10 only.
6. Feast of St Blaise will be celebrated on Monday, 3rd Feb. Blessing of throats at all masses.
7. We are starting new batch of Violin, Keyboard and Guitar classes from the month of February. Classes will be held on Sundays. Students should be from fifth standard and above. Violin, Keyboard and Guitar Fees Rs 500 per month. Registration forms available in the church office.
8. Parishioners who are well versed with tailoring are requested to offer their services for stitching clothes to be sent to Manipur. The material will be cut and given which will be stitched by you if interested on a pro bono basis as a service to the people struggling and living in miserable conditions in Manipur. Those interested kindly register your names in the church office at the earliest.
9. Intercessory prayer ministry. The parish is in need of active intercessors/prayer warriors. We plan to begin an intercessory group praying for the needs of parishioners, parish events and the parish community. Those interested kindly enlist in the church office.
10. Infant Jesus feast will be celebrated next Sunday, 9th February. Morning mass in Konkani at 7am, English mass at 8am. Feast mass celebrated by Fr Anthony L Fernandes at 10am. Prayerful Procession alongwith the Band from MG Motors /Tata Garage Highway at sharp 9:15am. All are invited to join the procession from the Highway along with the Palkhi of Infant Jesus. No evening mass on feast day. Cultural programme will begin from 6pm onwards. Bumper Feast Housie begins at sharp 6pm. Dinner coupons cost Rs.100 per head for parishioners only.
Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs. 27,600/- which is for the Church Trust.
