24th March –PALM SUNDAY – ANNOUNCEMENTS
- We begin the most holiest week in the liturgical calendar from Palm Sunday till Easter Sunday. In the Holy week you are invited to read the Word of God, Reflect on the Passion of Christ and spend some time in Prayer.
- We are grateful to all those who came forward to donate blood last sunday. A total of 55 bottles of blood was collected. Thank you very much and God bless you.
- ONLY AT SAT & 7am KONK MASS – Infant Jesus Devotion mass will be held tomm/today, Palm Sunday. Morning 7am mass in Konkani, Blessing of Palms at 9:10 am in the Basement followed by procession to the church. Eucharistic adoration at 9:30am and Mass at 10am. No children’s mass and No evening mass.
- No Evening mass tomm/today.
- This is the last week to drop in your Lenten Alms contributions in the box placed on the altar.
- Summer schedule for masses from 15th April is as follows. Weekday’s only one mass in the evening at 7pm. On Sundays Konkani mass at 7am and only one mass in English in the morning at 9am. No evening mass.
- Holy Week Services this year will held at Snehasadan grounds. Maundy Thursday service at 7pm, On Good Friday, Outdoor stations of the cross at 7am from the church, Stations of the cross for the sick and elderly in the church at 9am, Good Friday service at 6pm and Easter Vigil Service at 10pm. For details kindly refer to the Holy Week schedule on the notice board.
- In view of the upcoming national elections a prayer will be recited after communion at all masses. Kindly pray for the elections that God’s will be done.
- A session on careers in Merchant navy will be conducted by Captain Vernon Sequeira on Sunday, 7th April in our church. Students, Youth and parents are invited.
