ANNOUNCEMENT – 15th DECEMBER – SUNDAY– 2024 – C
1. We are very grateful to our parishioners and others for donating generously towards Bedsheet distribution project towards the poor and needy. We have distributed 3500 bedsheets to various hospitals across Mumbai like Cooper, JJ, KEM, Wadia, Nair, Sion and Trauma Hospital.
2. Mass for sick & aged will be held tomorrow/today at 11am.
3. Community wise Christmas Carol Singing will be held tomm/today after the 5:30pm evening mass. Come in your Christmas best. Bumper Christmas Housie starts at sharp 6:15pm. All are invited.
4. PPC/SCC Animators kindly collect calendars for your community from the parish office.
5. Christmas vigil mass will be celebrated at 11pm on Tuesday, 24th Dec. Christmas carols will be sung at 10:30pm in the Church.
6. Morning mass on Christmas day at 7am in Konkani and only one English mass at 8:30am. No evening mass on Christmas day.
7. No morning mass at 6:30am on Thursday, 26th Dec. Evening 7pm mass as usual.
8. The Sacrament of First Holy Communion and Confirmation will be administered on Saturday, 28th Dec, on the Feast of Holy Innocents at 9am by His Lordship Bishop Dominic Savio Fernandes. All are invited.
9. Next Sunday is the Feast of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary & Joseph. Konkani mass at 7am and only one English mass in the morning for families at 9am. Come and sit as a family and receive God’s blessings. Evening 5:30pm mass in Konkani as usual.
10. Advent campaign for Hunger & Disease. Kindly drop in your contribution in the box placed on the altar.
11. If there is any person or family struggling for whatever reason, be it financially, mentally or psychologically kindly contact the parish fathers.
12. If there is anyone in the parish who is alone at home for Christmas without any company, you are then invited to join the parish fathers and sisters for Christmas Lunch. Do not hesitate or feel shy. You are most welcome to be our guest and we are happy to have you join us for Christmas Lunch. Kindly inform any of the parish fathers or sisters by the 23rd of December.
Children’s Piggy Bank total collection amounted to Rs 51, 921
Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs. 26,810/- which is for the Archdiocese.
