11th FEBRUARY 2024 – 6th Sunday – Ordinary Time

  1. We wish our parishioners and those from other parishes a very Happy Feast of Infant Jesus. May Infant Jesus continue to bless you. Our hearts are filled with gratitude and joy for his Faithfulness over the past 50 years. Kindly convey our wishes to the sick, elderly and home bound.
  2. Feast day celebrations in the evening will be held in Fr Lazarus Sequeira Church Hall. Bumper housie begins at 6:30pm sharp. No evening mass.
  3. We begin the season of Lent from February 14th being Ash Wednesday. Morning mass at 6:30am and two evening masses at 6:30pm in Konkani and 7:30pm in English. Fridays of Lent is a day of Prayer, fasting and Abstinence.
  4. This year we introduce FASTING WARRIORS. Fasting and praying with your Lenten prayer partner on Fridays. Those interested kindly give your names to your PPC/SCC member latest by 14th February. Adults and Youth are invited to become fasting warriors.
  5. Stations of the Cross will be conducted on Wednesdays in Konkani at 6:30pm followed by Mass at 7pm.
  6. Stations of the Cross will be conducted on Fridays in English at 7pm followed by mass and guided Eucharistic Adoration from 8pm to 8:30pm. Parents are requested to come with their Children and Youth and spend few moments with Jesus every Friday.
  7. Special prayer service before the Blessed Sacrament is organized for school children, Youth and young adults appearing for various examinations on Thursday, 15th February at 7:30pm. All students will be prayed over. Kindly invite Non Christian students.
  8. We celebrate World Marriage day on Sunday, 18th February. Special mass with renewal of marriage Vows and blessings at 09:30 am. All are invited.
  9. This year in the season of Lent we will have semi night vigils from 9:30pm to 11:30pm in the church on Saturday’s beginning from 24th February. Parishioners are requested to make time from their busy schedules and spend precious moments with Jesus.
  10. Hindi prayer meeting is held every Wednesday immediately after the evening mass in the church. We request parishioners to create awareness and invite Non Christians to attend the same and experience the Power of God in their lives.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION: AV Hall on the 2nd floor has been renamed as Fr Juze D’Souza AV Hall & Church Hall is named as Fr Lazarus Sequeira Church Hall.
