15th OCTOBER, 2023 –27th SUNDAY (OT- A)

  1. Hindi Mass tomm/today at 5:30pm.
  2. PPC/SCC meeting on Wednesday, 18th Oct at 7:45pm in the AV Hall. Kindly collect the agenda from the sacristy. All are expected to be present.
  3. Altar Servers will visit the Goregaon seminary on Thursday, 19th Oct. Other children interested to come are welcome. We meet at 8am sharp in the basement and back by 1pm. Kindly give your names in the church office by Tuesday, 17th Oct. Kindly carry your own outdoor sports equipments.
  4. Every Friday there is mass for School children and youth in the evening followed by games. Parents kindly send your kids for Friday evening mass.
  5. Happy Hour will be organized next Saturday, 21st Oct by Koliwada, Subhash Nagar and Natwar Nagar Communities from 8pm to 9pm. It includes Housie and other cultural presentations. All are invited to cheer the participants and enjoy the evening.
  6. Sunday Funday for Sunday school children will be organized next Sunday from 8:15am to 9:15am in the AV Hall. It includes games, snacks, action songs and skits. Sunday school children to participate in large numbers.
  7. Infant Jesus devotion mass will be held next Sunday, 22nd Oct. Fr Jerome Lobo, our former parish priest will be the main celebrant. Eucharistic Adoration at 9:30am followed by Eucharist at 10am. Kindly attend the Eucharist in large numbers. No Sunday school and No evening mass next Sunday.
  8. Retreat for Working Youth and Young adults from 21st Oct to 24th Oct at Shalini Bhavan, Sion. Those interested kindly enlist at the parish office with a subsidized amount of Rs 1500.
  9. In the year of the Golden Jubilee, a Parish Picnic has been organized to Green Hills Resort, Nalasopara, on Tuesday, 24th Oct, a public holiday, being Dussehra. The cost per head is Rs. 750. However for our parishioners we will be charging a subsidized cost of Rs 250 per head inclusive of bus. We expect maximum persons to come for the picnic and celebrate as one large family. Picnic is only for parishioners. Those interested kindly give your names along with the money to your PPC/SCC Coordinators latest by 20th October.
  10. Registration forms of Talent Dhamaka are available in the church office. Last date to submit registration forms is 18th October. Kindly participate in large numbers.
  11. Children studying at Infant Jesus secondary section are expected to attend the morning mass and then attend school. Parents kindly encourage your children.
  12. Kotak Education Foundation offers skill based training for school/college dropouts, for non graduates and Graduates. Pass the word around. Help someone to build their lives. For details kindly see the notice board.
  13. Parish fathers and sisters will visit catholic families residing in Gandhi Nagar on Monday evening.

Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs.28, 340/- which is for the Archdiocese. Thank you for your generosity.
