NOTICES FOR THE WEEK

  1. We wish you a very Happy Feast of our Patron, Infant Jesus. Please convey our wishes to everyone at home especially the sick, elderly, and homebound.  We are also very grateful to all the devotees and benefactors of Infant Jesus who come from far and wide. God Bless you.
  2. We wish to thank everyone associated during the Novena days for all the help and assistance rendered, all the guest priests, the Lectors, Altar servers, Choirs, Rosary and Adoration teams, IJYM youth for ushering and for games stalls, church workers, Benefactors, committed and dedicated parishioners. Thank you, May Infant Jesus Bless you.
  3. The Celebration of the parish feast begins in the evening today from 5:30 pm onwards. Cultural programmes have been organized. Bumper housie begins at 6 pm sharp and the prize of two Full House is Rs Ten Thousand only for parishioners. Entry for feast celebration is free. No evening mass today.
  4. A special Eucharist and a prayer service before the Blessed Sacrament is organized on Friday, 17th Feb at 6:30 pm in the church for youth and children appearing for SSC, HSC, TY Board Exams and other regular examinations. Parents are requested to accompany their children/youth as they will be blessed and prayed over. Mass will be celebrated in English. All youth and children are invited.
  5. A picnic for members of Ladies Sodality, Hope & Life, SVP, Neophytes, Legion of Mary, Lectors, Altar servers, Eucharistic ministers, Choirs, and Church workers is organized on Saturday, 18th Feb, being a public holiday to Aksa Beach. Heads of these associations kindly submit the names of those attending to the church office latest by 13th Feb.  Cost per person is Rs 50.
  6. The parish celebrates world day of the sick on Sunday, 19th Feb. A special intention mass will be celebrated for the sick of our parish at the 9:30 a.m. mass. At the Eucharist, we will remember and pray for the sick of our parish community.
  7.  All working youth, young adults, and youth in senior college of our parish are invited for an interactive session on “Taking charge of your Financial Life” by Mr. Steven Fernandes on Sunday 19th Feb at 11 am in the AV Hall. Registration compulsory. For details kindly see the notice board. Last date to register is 17th Feb.
  8. A mass in Hindi will be celebrated for Hindi speaking parishioners next Sunday 19th Feb at 5:30 pm.
  9. Pre Baptism course is organized on Sunday, 5th March from 11 am to 12:30 noon. All expectant parents and God parents to be are required to attend this course. Kindly register in the church office latest by 26th Feb.
  10. Devotion to Infant Jesus will be celebrated on Sunday, 26th Feb by Bishop Barthol Barretto at 10:30 am. No evening mass on 26th Feb.
  11. Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs 40,020/- which is for the Parish Trust. Thank you for your generosity.
