4th SUNDAY IN ADVENT TIME – YEAR A

NOTICES FOR THE WEEK

  1. Community wise Carol singing will take place in the Church hall today after the evening mass. All are invited.
  2. Christmas party for Sunday school children will take place tomm/today after the children’s mass.
  3. Eucharistic Devotion to Infant Jesus will be celebrated tomm / today from 11am onwards. Kindly participate in large numbers. Kindly note the 9:30am mass will not be celebrated. No 9:30am mass  tomm / today.
  4. Carol singing is organized by ppc/scc coordinators, youth and kids in the communities from 19th to 23rd Dec and visiting homes especially of the sick and homebound.
  5. On 24th Dec, Christmas carols with a tableau presentation will be sung at 10pm and Christmas Vigil Mass will be celebrated at 10:30pm in the church.
  6. 25th Dec, Christmas day, mass at 7am in Konkani and 8:30am in English. No evening mass.
  7. Please note: On Monday, 26th Dec, No morning mass. Mass will be celebrated in the evening at 6:30pm. Only one mass at 6:30pm in the evening.
  8. Youth Overnight to Alibag on 27th & 28th Dec. Those interested kindly fill the registration forms available at the church office.
  9. The Community Crib and Star will be judged during the Christmas week. The theme is “Jesus the Prince of Peace”. PPC/SCC Coordinators along with youth and kids will execute it.
  10. Feast of Holy Innocents is celebrated on Wed, 28th Dec. Blessing of Infants and children at the evening 6:30pm mass. Parents kindly get your children for the Eucharist.
  11. Feast of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph is celebrated on Friday, 30th Dec. Come as a family for the Eucharist and receive blessings. Please sit together as a family.
  12. Contribution towards Advent campaign against Hunger and Disease by Centre for Social Action is to be dropped in the box placed in front of the altar. Envelopes for the same are placed on the box.
  13. Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs 23, 490 /- which is for the Archdiocese. Thank you for your generosity.
