        THIRTY THIRD SUNDAY OF THE YEAR (15/11/2020)

                NOTICES FOR THE WEEK

1. Today we celebrate World Day of the Poor and World Communication Day. Let us support those deprived by sharing and caring for them and thus communicating our love for them. May we also use our communication skills to build our families and communities.
2. Holy Eucharist: Kindly continue to join in the Holy Eucharist in your homes celebrated by our archbishop Monday to Saturday 7.00 am and Sunday at 9 am. Also tune in to special sessions/ talks on various topics conducted online by various archdiocesan bodies.
3. Church office remains closed till further notice.
4. Church services: For any church services sacramental or others like booking of masses, etc. Kindly get in touch with us priests by sending an email on the parish id ijparish74@gmail.com. Please do not come to the church for clarifications or bookings.
5. Sunday School: Online classes will have a winter break. Online classes will resume from Sunday 29th November 2020.
6. Next Sunday is the feast of Christ the King. Let us spend an hour in our homes to proclaim and pray to him as our King. It’s also the last Sunday of the liturgical year.  
7. Community Welfare Fund/ Donations: We thank you for your generous contribution towards the needs of the church and for community welfare. Please hand over the CWF envelope containing the cheque/ donation cheque to your respective PPC/ SCC coordinator who will do the needful. Kindly mention clearly the period of payment (i.e. the month/months/year/years for which the contribution is to be marked)
8. Covid Vaccine Box: We hope, every family has started saving for the vaccine, which will help ease the expense for the family or help someone else in the community.
9. Employment: Kindly visit the employment portal www.e2elinks.com to check job opportunities.
10. We thank you dear parishioners for your wonderful cooperation and support. Covid-19 threat is still on. Continue to take proper precautions as you move around. Be safe and practice SMS.
11. Pre-Bap course online: Those whose children were baptized during the pandemic and those preparing for the baptism of their child are requested to register their names online for this course by sending an email on the parish id ijparish74@gmail.com. Latest by Sunday 29th November 2020. We will be conducting this course in December 2020. Date will be communicated next Sunday.
12. Opening of Church: Though the state government has announced that the religious places be opened, we await the directives from our cardinal regarding the same. As soon as we receive the directives and put the SOP’s in place, we will intimate you. We will also need a few volunteers to help us out to prepare and maintain the church (sanitization and ushering)
13. Do attend the online community meetings as lots of information regarding church matters and parish happenings is passed on in these meetings.
