NOTICES FOR THE WEEK
- We celebrate today Laity Sunday. We pray that the laity may continue to play their role effectively in the mission of the church and collaborate with the ordained ministers in seeking fullness of love and communion in the families and communities of the parish.
- Sunday school for children of Std. I – Std. X has begun. Children should come for the 8.15 am mass and then attend the class. Parents please send your children for faith education every Sunday.
- A gathering of the neophytes will be held tomorrow/today at 6.45 pm in the A V Hall. All those baptized as adults may register for the same at the parish office with a registration fee of Rs 50/- You may come along with your parents/ spouse and your children.
- All those who have taken help from the higher education fund are requested to submit their mark-sheet or course certificate in the parish office.
- The Community welfare fund is a means to reach out to the poor of the parish especially in their medical, educational and other specific needs. Every family in the parish who has a working member is required to make a contribution of minimum 1% of the family income towards this fund. You may contribute in cheque or cash. Each family has been provided with a green envelope for the same, bearing the family number. In case you do not have one, please collect it from Cynthia in the parish office. Your timely contribution goes a long way in reaching out to the poor and the needy families of the parish.
- PPC meeting will be held on Sunday 7th July after the 9.30 am mass in the A V Hall.
- This year Parent’s Day will be celebrated on Sunday 28th July. In preparation for this celebration the family cell of our parish invites parents of all ages to an interactive session on ‘Parenting Kal, Aaj aur Kal’ on Sunday 21st July at 6.45 pm in the church hall. Parents from three generations will be part of the panel discussion along with an expert on the topic.
- Eco-kids will have their monthly meetings from the month of July. All Eco-kids animators are requested to start the process of forming their clubs. Kindly register your Ec-kids club with Fr. Henry before 10th July 2019.
- We are happy to welcome Sr Belinda to our parish. Sr. Belinda has been a part of our parish in the 1980’s for a few years. Her last appointment was in Latur district. With her vast experience in the field of social work and family apostolate, we look forward to a positive contribution towards our parish community. Welcome dear Sr. and wish you all the very best for a fruitful ministry in our parish.
