NOTICES FOR THE WEEK

  1. We are in Christian Unity Week. A talk in Hindi on Christian Unity will be given by Christian pastor Abhijit Sasane from the Church of North India on Wednesday, 25th Jan at 07:30 pm at the Hindi Prayer group meeting in the church. PPC/SCC Coordinators and members of all associations are requested to attend. All are invited. Wednesday evening mass will be celebrated in English.
  2. Friday Fever – Zumba dance for fitness will be conducted for parishioners on Fri, 27th Jan from 7:45pm onwards. It is open for men, women, youth and children of all age groups. Shoes compulsory.
  3. World Marriage Day will be celebrated next Sunday 29th Jan at the 9:30 am Mass. There will be renewal of marriage vows and special blessings for the married.
  4. An interactive session on Careers in Merchant Navy by Captain Vernon Sequeira is organized on Sunday 29th Jan, at 11am in the AV hall. For details and registration kindly see the notice board.
  5. Registration forms of Talent Dhamaka (Singing & Dance Competition) are available in the church office. Last date to submit forms is 25th Jan. For various categories kindly see the notice board.
  6. Next Sunday, 29th Jan, the evening 5:30 pm mass will be celebrated in Hindi.
  7. Parishioners interested in putting up stalls during the novenas kindly register at the counter outside.
  8. Congratulations to Larissa Nadar for securing Bronze medal in the Sub Juniors category and Jennifer Furtado for securing Silver medal in the senior category at the National Masters Bench Press Championship held at Aurangabad. The community is proud of you.
  9. If any of the parishioners is unwell or admitted in the hospital, kindly bring it to the notice of the parish fathers. We would like to pray for you and pray with you.
  10. Children and Youth are requested to speak in English language in the church premises and at all church meetings. No speaking in Hindi.
  11. A gentle reminder to all our school children to attend mass everyday during school days in the morning. Parents kindly oblige.
  12. Parishioners who would like to take part in the Fashion show for the parish feast in the married category kindly contact your SCC Coordinator. Tomorrow is the last date to register.
  13. Novena to Infant Jesus will begin from 3rd Feb to 11th Feb in the evening at 7pm and Infant Jesus Feast will be celebrated on Sunday, 12th Feb. Mogra Metro Station is just 3 minutes away from the church. Kindly spread the word. Come with your needs Infant Jesus never fails.
  14. The Parish Fathers and sisters will visit Catholic families residing in Natwar Nagar on Monday.
  15. Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs 43,450/- which is for the Parish Trust. Thank you for your generosity.
