33rd SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME YEAR C

         NOTICES FOR THE WEEK
  1. Sunday school has reopened. Parents are requested to send their children every week for Sunday school.
  2. Sunday school children will have a get together in the AV Hall on account of Children’s Day tomm/today.
  3. Altar servers meeting every Thursday at 9am in the activity room. Those who want to join altar servers are welcome.
  4. The Feast of Christ the King is celebrated on 20th November. All communities of our parish will participate in the SCC Rally in the evening next Sunday.
  5. The mass timings next Sunday is as follows. Morning mass at 7am in Konkani, 8:15 am children’s mass, Adoration from 9am to 9:30am. No 9:30am mass. Blessed Sacrament will be exposed till 12noon for silent prayer.In the evening Eucharistic Adoration from 4:30pm to 5:15pm. Mass at 5:30pm in Konkani followed by SCC Rally from 6:30 pm onwards. All are welcome. Come and cheer your communities.
  6. Children studying in Infant Jesus School, secondary section are requested to attend mass every morning before school.
  7. Important announcement: From 1st January onwards all funerals in our parish will be Shroud Burials i.e burials without coffin. As a community we will respond positively to the call of Our Holy Father in showing care to our Mother earth and Nature.
  8. Kindly note: This year our Parish feast will be celebrated on 12th Feb and Parish Novenas will begin from 3rd Feb to 11th Feb.
  9. Doctors from Holy Spirit Hospital are available at the Health Clinic every Thursday from 9:30am to 12noon in the church basement. Kindly spread the word.
  10. The parish fathers and sisters will visit the families residing at Shiv Tekdi on Monday and Paras Nagar on Wednesday.
  11. Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs.26, 530 /- which is for the Archdiocese. Thank you for your generosity.
