NOTICES FOR THE WEEK

  1. The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed everyday in the evening after the evening mass till 7:30pm for silent private prayer and reflection except on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. The chapel will remain closed during this time.
  2. PYC Meeting tomm/today after the 9:30am mass in the AV Hall. The Youth are requested to attend the short meeting.
  3. Church workers will have a Christmas Fellowship Lunch on Saturday, 10th Dec.
  4. Mass for sick and homebound will be celebrated on Sunday, 11th Dec at 11am. Family members/area coordinators kindly arrange to get the homebound for mass.
  5. IJYM youth will distribute bedsheets on Wednesday, 14th December to the poor patients living on the footpaths outside TATA Hospital, Children’s Wadia Hospital and poor patients of Trauma Hospital to help them cope with extreme cold/winter setting in. Those who would like to sponsor bedsheets for the poor are requested to hand it over to the church office and donations for the same will be accepted. We plan to distribute 1000 bedsheets. Cost of one bed sheet is Rs 85.
  6. Christmas Confessions in English, Hindi, Marathi and Konkani will be heard on Thursday 15th and Friday 16th December from 6pm to 8pm. Guest priests will be available. Kindly prepare well and make a good confession.
  7. Advent Taize Prayer Service for the youth is organized on Friday, 16th Dec from 8pm to 8:30pm.
  8. Community wise Carol singing will take place in the Church hall on Saturday, 17th Dec after the evening mass. All communities will sing Christmas carols to welcome the birth of Jesus in our lives.
  9. Christmas party for Sunday school children is organized on Sunday 18th Dec. Donations are accepted to defray the cost of expenses.
  10. Eucharistic Devotion to Infant Jesus will be celebrated on Sunday 18th Dec from 11am onwards.
  11. The Community Crib and Star will be judged during the Christmas week. The theme is “Jesus the Prince of Peace”. Kindly assist the youth.
  12. Advent campaign against Hunger and Disease envelopes are kept on the box in front of the altar kindly drop them in the same box.
  13. Junior K.G. admission form for the academic year 23-24 will be distributed on 9th and 10th Dec, for Catholics and siblings and for non-Christians from 12th Dec to 17th December from 8.30a.m to  12 noon. For details kindly see the pre primary school notice board.
  14. Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs 42, 610 /- which is for the parish. Thank you for your generosity.
