NOTICES FOR THE WEEK
- The Sacrament of Confirmation will be administered at the 10 am Eucharist.
- Konkani outreach by Bro Prakash D’Souza is tomm/today from 5 pm onwards. All are welcome. Please invite all your Konkani speaking friends and relatives.
- Registration forms of Talent Dhamaka (Singing & Dance Competition) are available in the church office. For details kindly see the notice board. The last date to submit forms is 18th Jan.
- Eucharistic Devotion to Infant Jesus will be celebrated next Sunday 22nd Jan. Eucharistic Adoration at 10:00 a.m and Mass at 10:30 a.m will be celebrated by Fr Gerard Rodricks, Parish Priest of Holy Family Church, Chakala. We will pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life from our parish. Kindly participate in large numbers. Kindly note No 9:30 am mass next Sunday.
- All those who would like to sing in the Konkani choir at masses in the morning and in the evening on Sundays are invited for practices every Thursday at 7 pm in the activity room.
- Christian Unity week begins from 18th to 25th Jan. We pray for unity among Catholic Church and Christian mainline churches. A talk in Hindi on Christian Unity will be given by a Christian pastor on Wednesday, 25th Jan at 7pm at the Hindi Prayer group meeting in the church. All are invited. Prayer for Christian Unity will be recited during the Unity week at all masses.
- Friday Fever – Zumba dance for parishioners will be conducted on coming Friday, 20th Jan from 7:30 pm onwards. It is open for men, women and children of all age groups. Shoes compulsory.
- Happy Hour – The IJYM Youth has organized Gospel Rock on coming Saturday on 21st Jan at 7:30 pm sharp followed by a game of housie. All are invited.
- For details about Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, a Mental Health Mela on Sunday, 22nd Jan organized by Prafulta at Dominic Savio Grounds, kindly see the banner outside.
- Last year’s Palms may be dropped in the tub placed in front of the altar as it will be used to make ashes to be imposed on Ash Wednesday. Kindly oblige.
- If any of the parishioners is unwell or admitted in the hospital, kindly bring it to the notice of the parish fathers. We would like to pray for you and pray with you.
- Children and Youth are requested to speak in English language in the church premises and at all church meetings. No speaking in Hindi.
- A gentle reminder to all our school children to attend mass every day during school days in the morning. Parents kindly oblige.
- The Parish Fathers and sisters will visit Catholic families residing in Natwar Nagar on Monday.
- Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs 24,700/- which is for the Archdiocese. Thank you for your generosity.
